Michele Cartwright: In her younger years, Michele was extensively involved in the community and high school theater departments. After pursuing and establishing a carrier as a make-up artist, Michele has rediscovered her love and place in the theater with this amazing ensemble cast. The personal journey of developing a character has inspired Michele to continue to explore and nurture her dreams. She thanks Tajci and everyone involved for this opportunity.
April Combs is currently living in Cincinnati. As a critically acclaimed singer-songwriter April fronted the alt-rock band Arson Garden, a band the Chicago Reader called “perhaps the only art rock band in North America that matters”) in the late 80’s/early 90’s. She has appeared on MTV and at Lollapalooza, performed a coveted Peel Session on the BBC’s Radio One, and recorded at Prince’s Paisley Park as well as John Mellencamp’s Belmont Mall. She has toured extensively across the United States and Europe and opened for a wide range of acts from The Replacements to Shaun Colvin to They Might Be Giants.
April’s latest project, HONNEYCOMBS with her brother James and Laurie Burnham, is all about songwriting and harmony singing. She is also developing a children’s music project called April Eight focusing on pixies, fairies and l-o-v-e! That is a lot of songwriting, and she’ll tell you all about it – joined by Laurie Burnham singing her lovely harmonies.
Serenity Fisher is a singer-songwriter, playwright, actress, INFP, tree-hugger, poet with a penchant toward the absurd, and architect of strange creatures made of ink and paper. She is a co-founder of the Tangled Leaves Theatre Collective and often works with Know Theatre, Performance Gallery, Pones, Inc and Clifton Performance Theatre. Serenity’s original
indie play with music, “Sophie’s Dream” was voted Audience Pick of the 2010 Cincinnati Fringe Festival. She is currently writing a pop opera, titled “Opal Opus” and will be releasing her 2nd album this summer.
Tajci (Tatiana Cameron)
is a performing artist, musician, songwriter and music director. She has achieved platinum record sales in her native Croatia and has been performing in concert, in theatre and on television since the age of four. Her favorite performances were at Eurovison Song Contest, at Madison Square Garden, and Carnegie Hall in NYC. Tajci is a graduate of American Musical and Dramatic Academy, NYC and Croatian Music Conservatory. Tajci has written, directed and produced numerous children’s musicals and narrative music events. “My Perfectly Beautiful Life: A Musical” is Tajci’s first full-length musical play. Tajci.net
